From the hill you look out over the Elkhorns and down onto the actual wagon ruts of the Oregon Trail in the Baker Valley below, and the five-hundred-acre site carries more than four miles of interpretive trail, including an easy path to the ruts themselves. Closer in, the Powder River Interpretive Trail and the Leo Adler Memorial Parkway follow the water through town.
