The manual gathers the Midgard Serpent of Norse myth that encircles the globe from the ocean deeps, Tiamat of Babylon who personifies the salt water of chaos, the serpent Writa of India, Ra against Apophis in Egypt, Zeus against Typhon, and Apollo's defeat of the Python at Delphi, where the old enemy became a source of oracle.
